3. Mentor Program - Middle School & High School Mentor Program

A+ Japanese Auto Repair has been offering mentor programs through the local school districts in Belmont, San Carlos, Foster City, Redwood Shores, and San Mateo to students who have interest in the automotive field. We typically set aside time to teach and train the students in all aspects of an independent repair facility. We spend time showing them how the front office staff works with clients and the technical staff to relay the findings to the clients, order parts, work with accounting, and phone skills. The students will also spend time in the back work facility with the Mechanics spending time as an apprentice mechanic learning basic auto repair skills and the progressing. We have two students we have mentored that are now working for us full time. This can be a rewarding field. If you know someone interested in finding out more about auto repair as a carrier please have them contact us via the form below.
