told me things i didn't know about a carI have had for 5+ years...glad to have theinfo and plan to go ahead with my preventivemaintenace here.

First time being there, the experience is great. I was in and out within 40min for the oil change. called in one day earlier for the appointment. I also used the YELP coupon ($20 for $40 value). Everything was handled smoothly. It has been a very friendly service.

Rob was incredible as always. Came in last minute with my key not being able to turn off. Rob took care of everything perfectly and quickly as usual. He got the (1985 Honda Hatchback!) parts quickly and gave me a break on labor. I love this place!!!!!

As always, I was completely satisfied with my maintenance checkup. Rob is so nice and efficient. I always seem to spend more than I planned, but items are brought to my attention, and I can fix or not fix, and I always fix. I appreciate the attention to the detail of maintaining my car the best way they can.

Have tried a couple other shops and also two dealers, but never seemed to find one place that could handle all the aspects of car maintenance well. Some were really good at many things but then you'd take it in for something new and it would just be a terrible experience. Have taken 2 vehicles to A+ and in every case the work was done on time, efficiently and with a full explanation of what was involved and what could wait but what shouldn't.

A+ was yet again great - good service, good work plus they went the extra mile to find the exact part I need which saved me hundreds of dollars. They clearly had my interests in mind.

I hadn't taking my 4Runner into a shop in about 6 years. I was really worried that the shop I brought it into was going to overload me with "required" repairs. A+ did a great job at managing my expectations and explaining what was critical and what could wait. They made the experience pleasant and very convenient. I will be returning with all our cars.

I'm a cute, petite girl who looks like a teenager and knows nothing about cars. When it comes to being taken advantage of by mechanics, I'm a sitting duck. My Honda Civic was due for it's 65k checkup, and my dad was concerned about my automotive naivete being taken advantage of. He did some Googling and called A+ Japanese Auto Repair, and had a long talk with the owner, Rob. I brought in the car, and Rob gave it a thorough checkup and test drive, including checking the oil and fluids. Then he sat me down and told me everything I needed to know in an honest and non-condescending way. He said that my car was in great condition and didn't need any work at the moment. And he did all this FOR FREE. I've been a loyal customer ever since. The service is cheerful and punctual and Rob has never tried to upsell me anything.
