This was my first time with A+ Japanese Auto Repair - from the start, their website is very easy to use and even easier to make an initial appointment. I actually had to call in to change my appointment time, and I cannot stress how lucky I was to have Jason pick up my call! Jason was friendly, extremely helpful and delivered excellent customer service, every step of the way! He was quick to explain their entire process (love the transparency!), helped me understand what they'd be doing for my car this time, and was just such a pleasure to work with. In addition, the actual servicing was so efficient - they helped me get a Lyft ride home after I dropped my car off, and made sure to even send me a full breakdown of all the things they checked on my car. I cannot stress how amazing my experience with Jason and A+ Japanese Auto Repair was. Please don't hesitate to work with them!

This shop is the best one I’ve ever taken my vehicle too. They do an amazing job of checking out my vehicles and follow up with phone calls telling you when you can pick up your vehicle, etc. I’m overall extremely satisfied with this place, and will take every car I own here.

I had a great experience at Japanese Auto Repair!!Highly recommend them. Jason is very knowledgeable about cars. He let me know what repairs needed to be done on my 2002 LEXUS 300. He also kept me informed by phone how things were going & when I could pick up my car. Once again I highly recommend this auto repair shop. Wouldn’t go anywhere else! 😊

Great fast service at reasonable prices especially for Bay Area

I reluctantly took my 2016 wrx to A+ to have a complicated short shifter installed. I’m glad I found A+; my experience here was great. My service advisor, Jason, was very honest, fair, and exceedingly competent in making sure the whole process for me went smoothly. A+ is a special shop that does a lot of things right, but -for me- the team of service advisors made this shop stand apart from the others. In some other good shops, you speak to the owner that knows you and your vehicle by name... but then the car is handed off to one of any number of mechanics and you start to wonder what happens to your car. That’s not the feeling u get at this shop, you stay in communication with one of 3 service reps that keep u connected and take responsibility for the service. This family-owned business seems to have a good system that the high quality employees buy in to. In my short, single experience with A+, I’ve noticed the excellent work of: the service reps, the skilled mechanics, and even the guy that receives your vehicle on arrival and carefully makes sure your car returns in the same condition. Lastly, they have a great drop off and pick up system that gives the option to conveniently leave/pick up vehicle even when the shop is closed. A+ is good; I highly recommend.

Good experience. A+ Japanese Auto Repair took care of my Lexus RX300. I had the Fall Special, which includes an oil change and a thorough inspection of the vehicle. Justin, my service advisor, was very helpful and addressed all my questions and concerns. I received an inspection report that even included a picture of a problem area. Time is of the essence, so I was thrilled that drop off, pick up and payment were all simple and quick.

Justin is super nice! I would definitely come here again if I need service in the future.
