I'm a cute, petite girl who looks like a teenager and knows nothing about cars. When it comes to being taken advantage of by mechanics, I'm a sitting duck.My Honda Civic was due for it's 65k checkup, and my dad was concerned about my automotive naivete being taken advantage of. He did some Googling and called A+ Japanese Auto Repair, and had a long talk with the owner, Rob. I brought in the car, and Rob gave it a thorough checkup and test drive, including checking the oil and fluids. Then he sat me down and told me everything I needed to know in an honest and non-condescending way. He said that my car was in great condition and didn't need any work at the moment. And he did all this FOR FREE.I've been a loyal customer ever since. The service is cheerful and punctual and Rob has never tried to upsell me anything.
