San Carlos Auto Repair

These guys transformed my car! My 2001 Beetle had been struggling with the San Carlos Hills, noise, hick-ups and all. They found the transmission fluid was never changed, neither was the timing belt, seals were seeping and other fatigued stuff. They replaced all along with minor service. I drove off the lot with the car humming and giving the smoothest performance ever! Incredible but true!

These guys are the best and have all the service for my 3 vehicles (TL, RDX, and Accord) for life. After having very negative experiences with Hopkins Acura, I went to an independent shop in Burlingame that was very good overall (Nicks). But A+ is closer and is a full service shop that works with you to go a great job at a great value. After getting my TL-S brakes done here last year, I was sold. They found pads that were a significant saving over Acura pads, and gave me a very good labor quote (way better than Hopkins, and a little better than Nicks). When they ran into a snag getting the lower priced pads, they got them from Acura but stuck to their quote, eating the difference (about $120 as I recall). I didn't even have to ask, that's just how they do business. Not only that, they are very friendly, knowledgeable, give you their attention no matter how busy they are, and follow up to make sure you are happy. Unbelievable service and overall customer experience! I am so lucky they are close by, but I would travel far if necessary to use them. Definitely as good as it gets in auto repair, and I know what I am talking about!

I like these people. They are honest, efficient and thorough. If you want cheap go to jiffy lube but if you care about your car (s) and want to be confident the work is done correctly; this is an excellent shop.

As when I used to bring in my previous car, a Subaru Outback, I am happy to bring you my new Nissan Altima. I always feel secure in knowing you'll do a great job. And you do. Plus, you're nice and personable to deal with. So much better than trying to get things done with a dealership. And the price is better, too. :)

Either in lack of quality work or the cost or both. I appreciate how records are kept of my car to refer back to what has occurred in the past. This last time in, I thought my car was going to be totaled due to flooding of the carpets and some electrics. They went the extra mile to get it cleaned up and back in near perfect condition. I went by and described the problem. Rob looked at my car. He put an estimate together about a day later. I took my car in at my convenience (got to choose the day) and they fixed it that day and they even washed it!
