These guys - and Justin Mills in particular - are the absolute most professional, trustworthy, customer service oriented individuals I have frankly ever encountered in any business. I starting bringing my Toyota Highlander to them for service as soon as I ended my dealer service contract and they took amazing care of it ever since (about 7 years) until my son drove it off to college 2 years ago... well fast forward to this summer when he had packed it up and headed out to school only to encounter flashing check engine light just an hour into his trip. We had it towed to A+ Japanese auto where Justin discovered the cause - mice culprits that had wrecked havoc throughout the entire engine and inside the dashboard. Justin informed me of the good news: this damage was covered by insurance, and then the bad news: given the extend of the damage ($16,000 to fix) the insurance company would most certainly deem the car totaled. While we are grieving the loss of this car with 225,000 miles that took our family on many happy memorable trips (to Baja and back, to the grand Tetons, countless trips to the Sierra etc.) and commuted us safely to work and school without fail, we are grateful to Justin for handling and navigating the insurance process for us with ease and grace and getting us a nice lump sum amount in return that we will use to buy a replacement car. We now live 2 hours away (in Monterey County) but would seriously consider making the drive to have this nee car serviced in the food hands of A + Japanese Auto. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Camas, thank you so much for this wonderful review. I'm sure many people share with you that sense of intense grief when a beloved vehicle is lost. As difficult as the travel is, we hope to see you again someday with the new car!
