I have to say that this relationship was much better than I thought it would be. I'm always skeptical of mechanics and getting any work done on my vehicle. However, I felt I received outstanding, professional service from my very first interaction with A+. I was called and kept in the loop every step of the way, and never once felt I was having the wool pulled over my eyes. My car needed extensive work, and the fact that I was called after every analysis, given estimates (which weren't changed after the work was done)and received honest opinions was refreshing. In fact, the day I picked up my car, I had additional issues (not related to the work A+ had done), and A+ was willing to help out for no additional charge. Doesn't get any better than that. I would certainly recommend A+ to friends and even to non friends if I overheard they needed some work done on their vehicle.

Considering that I had just driven up with a problem, the staff as usual was cordial. I was kep informed of the issues with my car throughout the day. Knowing how critical my car was they worked late and in the end I was returned a better running vehicle.

I took my Mazda in to A+ Japanese Auto Repair because the breaks were making a grinding sound, and they saved me $450 compared to the quote I had gotten at another shop. The staff was so friendly, and they helped me understand exactly what the problem with the car was (I have no clue about cars, but they were incredibly patient and didn't talk down to me). They won't do repairs that don't need to be done, and their warranty is great. I will definitely go back to this auto shop for my future car needs!

A+ always provides great service. When I had an issue with my brakes after the service, they took my van and fixed it. A+ is great.

Helpful and engaging staff -- also, gotta love their striving to always serve their customers to the best of their abilities. They seem to be be willing to test out new means to strengthen the relationship with customers i.e. automatic check-up notification through e-mail

They gave a complete estimate, accepted the car in as scheduled and completed the repairs as promised. A+ explained what work was done and what should be looked at in the near future. And they were friendly all the while. What more can one ask?

I was looking for a new Toyota garage and A+ was very well reviewed on the Car Talk web site. I am extremely pleased with my first interaction. Everyone was very friendly and the entire process was transparent. I was taken through the work before it was done and again afterward, while my questions were answered clearly. Although they spent a bunch of time trying to turn off horn that sounds when the car is opened remotely, they were not successful and did not charge me. That's a tremendous investment in building a relationship and I intend to take my other Toyotas there as well.
