San Carlos Auto Repair

Took my 97 4runner in for regular service since I'm going to be putting a lot of miles on for the holidays. Basic service was $140, they recommended a some other adjustments (deglazing a couple of the rotors, etc), and warned me about a couple of leaks. I got this car from family that neglected it so I wasn't too surprised that it had a collection of small issues, and I'm certain 2 trips in playa dust really didn't help. The coolest feature of A+ is that they emailed titled pictures of the things they found. Some of it I knew about, some of the leaks were new to me, but man it could use an undercarriage wash!I would take a star off for not looking at my car the same day I dropped it off, but they made sure that I wouldn't be stranded, and the photos they sent of the problem areas makes me feel confident in their recommendations. Bonuses: they washed the car (it was really obvious) and Justin was easy to work with.

I'm a new regular! Big shout out to Justin. He's awesome. (Ask for him.) I just picked up my truck today after getting big honking screws in 2 tires. They managed to repair one and replace the other in less than 24 hours. This is pretty special considering the tires I run are an unusual brand and size. They take excellent care of my Landcruiser "Edna" and will be performing future modifications for me (unless I do them.) Previously I had them do the 80k regular maintenance and purchase better tires. They found my brake rotors were shot, likely due to the aftermarket pads I installed. They aren't cheap but they do good work. I trust them to work on the vehicle I use to transport my kids. 'Nuff said.

I had a problem that was detected with the usual tuneup etc. Justin Mills was wonderful and took care of me and the car. A+ Japanese rented a car for me and the work was finished in one day. It has a warranty for 2 years so that is a bonus. Thanks A+ Japanese for taking care of me

This is the best auto center I have ever had the pleasure to take my car too. Gary assisted me. He didn't take advantage of my little knowledge on cars and he even found a cheaper part for me!! I will be coming here from now on! I own a Hyundai.

I called Monday morning not expecting to get in same say. I was told "come on in", Dropped car off, problem diagnosed and fixed. No further trouble.

When I visited A+ Japanese Auto Repair, I was immediately greeted by friendly, capable staff who helped me immediately even though it was very busy in the office. Gary made me feel welcome right away and that my business was important to him. My car was checked thoroughly and Gary did a fantastic job of explaining every issue to me.
