My 2002 Insight, manual transmission, started making nasty noises as I got home in the East Bay on a Friday. I took it to my local dealer, and 2 days later they quoted big bucks just to diagnose thoroughly. So: I called Rob at A+ and had a nice flatbed tow from AAA. The diagnosis quote was 40% of the dealer quote, and when we detemined the tranny was trash, Rob found a good used unit at a good price. he sent me photos and diagnosis of other issues that were spotted along the way, items the dealer didnt' even look for, and now my car is GREAT! 110% recommend!

This small store is not only knowledgeable, but it also has an amazing customer service. They are reliable, honest, detailed and clearly explained what needs to be done. They called me when they said they would and even delivered the car to my house as I had no means to come and pick it up and needed it to run errands. My husband has been going to service his MDX there for a while and they have now earned my business as well for my Odyssey. I highly recommend it!

I felt like I (and my car) were being well taken care of when I dropped it off. The staff has a knowledgeable and caring attitude that I appreciated. I ended up needing new tires and was amazed with the quality and price of the tires they recommended. They see a lot of tires and I was able to benefit from their years of experience. Thanks Guys!

I came to this shop to fix a few issues that were left from another shop. I just picked it up yesterday but can say it was a much better repair job, several days faster and I will be going there again.

Rob recently helped me with the 30,0000 mile service on my Lexus HS250h. My dealership was going to change well over $600 for this service, which included many things that we're really unnecessary (like replacing the battery in my key fob, which still works perfectly). A+ Japanese did all the essential maintenance listed in my owner's manual, checked everything recommended for the 30,000 service, didn't do what didn't need doing, and got me out the door for less than a third of what my dealership would have charged. I've been taking my car to them for about 18 months and couldn't be happier with the care they've taken if it and me.
