I have been using this place since 2006 to service my 2002 Prius. I found them through the webpage for the NPR show 'CarTalk'. They were recommended as a good local service shop. I also checked them out with the Better Business Bureau (before I took my car there) and they had no complaints againt them (they still don't as I write this) and were ranked A by the BBB. I am very happy with the service that they offer. I have never had an experience where the work done cost more than the estimate. It is always the same as or less than. They provide personal service and charge reasonable rates. I have recommended them to my friends and those friends have also had excellent experiences there. This is a locally owned business whose owner and employees all take pride in providing excellent value and honest service. I will never take my car back to a dealership service again.

Rob is great. He is straightforward - the most valuable thing of all - and has a great sense of humor. Very obliging and will not try to push unnecessary items on you! I like also that he takes into account what your lifestyle is and what you want to use the car for. I didn't get repairs done there - just an inspection - but I liked the feel of the place, and he charged a fair price for the inspection (and was thorough about it).

Rob is great. He is straightforward - the most valuable thing of all - and has a great sense of humor. Very obliging and will not try to push unnecessary items on you! I like also that he takes into account what your lifestyle is and what you want to use the car for. Hmmm..some people either seem to love A+ or not. I think they are a great place to get your japanese car serviced. I own a Nissan Maxima that I have taken there several times.. each time I felt like they were honest and reasonably priced. But honestly what do I know? They could tell me my flux capacitor needed to be replaced and I would agree to the service. (Yes, that was a Back to the Future reference. What can I say, I'm old.)I really like their shuttle service and their friendly attitude too. As long as I have a japanese car, I will take it to A+.

I came here for my 150K mile service on my truck, and since I rather not go to a dealer for such work I thought I'd give this place a shot based on the positive reviews here on Yelp.I thought they were very professional and very courteous. They have a shuttle service (a Prius) so they can take you home and pick you up. They are very thorough in their inspections and are not pushy in any sort of way. Honesty, how about that?!I will say in terms of price, I would say they are cheaper than a dealer but probably not by much (10-20% I would say?). At some point I will need a new timing belt, etc, A Plus told me it would be about $1100 but I also called another repair place I have bookmarked here on Yelp with great reviews and they quoted me about $800. So just FYI.

Super service. I had taken my car in for servicing about three weeks back. They told me a whole laundry list of items that needs to be fixed. I wasn't prepared to spend that much, so they helped me understand what needs to get done vs what could wait until the next visit. They even took photographs and sent them to me at work to help show me what some of the problems were! Then, just this last week, I was driving on the freeway and the "check engine" light came on. Took the car back in, they did a bunch of quick tests, just to find out that I didn't tighten the gas cap enough when I filled up the day before. I felt like an idiot, but they didn't charge me a dime and even called me again a few days later to make sure there weren't any other issues. Great follow up!

A + Japanese was 5 stars all around. I called for an appointment Friday morning and got an appointment Monday, since they are not open on weekends. Rob, who is the service manager was very nice, described everything to me in detail. He went over the list and pricing with me and the best part was he called me at work and emailed me the pictures of all the repairs they needed to do and described everything! Now that's pretty amazing, especially to a person who knows nothing about cars. As a woman, I felt very comfortable with Rob and the staff feeling like they were not there to take advantage of the situation but to help fix the problem. And the price was pretty reasonable. I would definitely go back again and share this fantastic place with family and friends. Oh, and my car is running like a dream again.
