I cannot say enough good things about these guys!! I have brought my car to A+ two times now, and each experience gets better. The Service Consultant I work with is Jason and he really helps me to understand everything that's going on with my car. I'll drop it off in the morning and by mid-afternoon I get a call regarding the problem and an explanation of what needs to be done now and what can wait until later. Jason spends the time to breakdown the cost and explain the repairs. Jason also works very hard to keep my costs to a minimum by mentioning online offers and second hand options for non-essential parts. I really enjoy bringing my car to these guys. They are always friendly and accommodating. They always make sure I have a ride to wherever I'm going after I drop my car off, and even bring my car to me when it's finished. After being treated so well, I can't imagine bringing my car anywhere else!

Easy as pie. I send a text to them telling them I need service, they pick up my truck and drop off a rental, keep me updated via text and email on the progress, when done they drop off my truck and pick up the rental. This is what vehicle maintenance should be. I wish everything else in life was this easy.

This was my first interaction with Rob @ A+ Japanese Auto repair and I am very impressed by their professionalism, integrity and customer service. I had to get my car towed into their shop. Rob was very courteous and I didn't even have to go with my car. Once they had diagnosed the issue, he called me back, gave me the quote. I told him I had a quote from another place that was lower. He talked to them and then told me to go with them. He even towed my car back to my house - free of charge. While I did not get my car repaired this time from them, I would definitely go back to them. His honesty and integrity are to be commended. Rob, thank you for your service. I definitely hope to be a customer in the future.

We live in Belmont and have been long time very happy customers with A + Japanese. Our Infiniti G35 and Nissan Altima have been in good hands with these folks over the years. Earlier this afternoon I noticed the left rear tire on my wife's Nissan Altima had a slow air leak. I called A + and Eric, one of the owners, told me to bring the car in at my convenience. Took the car in 2 hours later and 15 minutes after that, A + repaired the tire, ( screw in the tread) and checked all the fluid levels to make sure the car was road worthy and I was on my way. Rob Lucas, the Service Manager refused to take my credit card for payment and told me "it's on A + Japanese". If you have a Japanese car and looking for a place to have your car serviced or repaired on the peninsula then your search is over. These folks are professional, honest, very knowledgable and have always shown they appreciate our business.I wish I could give A + six stars.

I found A+ a few days ago here on yelp- and when 99% of the reviews were stellar- I figured I'd give them a try. I just purchased a commuter car (94 Honda Accord) and needed an oil change and a good inspection. These guys did not disappoint. I was able to make an appt for the same week I called- dropped off the car, and took advantage of the awesome quick Uber ride to the DMV. Once getting to the DMV I quickly learned I needed a smog check on this extra ride. I called Naeem (my service attendant) and he coordinated me getting a smog check at a smog shop down the street AND EVEN PAID FOR IT, then brought the car back for the oil change and inspection. I was able to go pick up the smog certificate, go back to the DMV and wait for the car to be done. Once the inspection and oil change were over, Naeem called me and had an Uber car come pick me up. I received an email going over EVERYTHING with the car- with pics included. He didn't rec anything the car didn't need and had some great advice. The car runs better and I am confident I have found a new home for the Honda Accord for service and for me! These guys are in fact amazing and I am VERY hard to impress...so that says a lot! He even threw in some windshield wipers for free----like who does that??? A+ does!! Thanks guys :) A+ Japanese Auto Repair

I have been bringing my car to A+ for many years now and feel confident that they do the best work for the best price. They explain what needs to be done, constantly communicate where they are in the process and provide a Lyft if you need to get to work or get around. All the guys are friendly and treat you with respect and deliver on their promise as to when your car will be completed. I heard about them through a friend and they have not let me down. They also stand by their warranty on the work that they provide.

I live in Santa Rosa was visiting family turned on by ignition to my Subaru Outback at 4:45 pm on Friday July 1 to find Check Engine Light and two others flashing. Called A+ talked to Rob Lucas he said if I could get there within 30 minutes he would wait for me. We got delayed but he called to check if we were still coming he waited and was able to tell us what was wrong assured us about driving the car. It was now 6pm on the Fourth of July weekend. In my book he went far and beyond the call of duty especially since we don't even live locally. If I lived here he would be my service choice. J Sandersfeld

They have not fixed my car because they could not find anything major except a loose battery but this place is wonderful. They ran a full diagnostic on my car, made sure that the battery was still good. They tightened the connections and it was once again working well. AAA towed it over to their shop so I never met Justin until I picked up the car. Justin, you are truly a class act. He is a thorough gentleman...all three of the guys in the office were so welcoming and polite. The best thing is that they made my day by handing me an invoice for $0. I was blown away. They will be getting all of our repair business from now on. Thanks guys for brightening my mood. There are still well mannered gentlemen in the world.

This is by far the best auto shop I've worked with. The advisors are super professional, courteous, and helpful. The mechanics take photos of anything wrong with your car and email them to you so you feel like you know what's going on. The shop arranges for rides if you need one. Etc. The next time I buy a car, I'm actually more likely to get a Japanese one so I can keep going to this place.
