I brought my car in for repair this last week. It is fixed and runs so well. I had had a problem that had not been able to be fixed for 5 years and got fixed here. Can't say enough good things about the team there-mechanics and customer facing people.

I had an emergency arise with my son's car - bad (really bad) brake situation. I called A+ in the morning and Naeem was able to fit me in and get everything taken care of in the same day. While it was there, they gave the car a quick once-over. I was particularly pleased that they did not try to sell me a lot of unnecessary servicing. A+ was fast, delivered what they said they would on-time, and for a fair price. Naeem was friendly and very professional. Spectacular customer service!

My car was towed to A+ Japanese after it died while I was driving on the freeway. Even without an appointment they were able to get my car repaired so quickly that I didn't need to figure out another way to get to work. They rock!! When I discovered that the radio and clock didn't work I went back and Rob was so gracious in showing me how to reset it. A picturesque Monday morning, headed to SFO on 280 for business travel when BAM, sniff sniff - what's that smoky smell? Gears not engaging on the Murano and uh-oh I know what this means...the flawed CVT transmission design strikes again. I log onto Yelp to find the closest Japanese auto repair with good ratings and was lucky enough to find A+ Japanese Auto Repair. I dealt with Rob, who was professional and courteous, exhibiting a level of customer service not seen in decades in an auto repair shop. He coordinated receiving my Murano from AAA while I made my way to SFO to catch the next flight out for a few days. During that time we had numerous conversations about the cost of the repair versus scrapping the car ('03 with 182k odo) and after examining the car fully gave me an honest opinion on the cost versus longevity of the vehicle - all without trying to upsell the repair. It was an easy decision to scrap the vehicle due to the cost versus value, and Rob helped me feel at ease with the decision. He also helped coordinate the transfer to the charity donation. I couldn't recommend them more and should I need repair services in the future I will definitely be returning.

You had mentioned that you go to Tahoe with your family frequently. I have family myself and would not want to be broken down on the side of the road after performing extensive repairs on my vehicle. I brought my car in because I was having problems keeping the battery charged. Rob was very helpful and wrote up an order to diagnose the problem. They included a complimentary tire and fluid check. At the end of the day, they were unable to find anything wrong with the system. Rob asked to keep if overnight so that they could do further checks. In the end, no problem was found so they did not try to fix things hit or miss. They did not charge me a thing for all of this diagnosis. If it fails again, I will definitely take it back to A+ because I know I can trust them.

Auto repair is not always about the dollars. The owners of A+ Japanese Auto Repair Inc. and myself understand this. Since we were unable to repair of verify your fault on your Honda S2000, we felt that a fee was not justifiable. Thank you for the kind words. I went to A+ Japanese at the recommendation of my boyfriend who has taken his Hyundai there in the past. I had procrastinated much needed mechanical work because I faced numerous instances of your typical talk-to-a-woman-like-she's-stupid and an actual tap on the head when I brought my car in for noisy brakes. I went into A+ Japanese a little cynical, not quite sure how things would go, but trusting my boyfriend's experience and recommendation.I couldn't be happier! I have a nine year old Chevy Cobalt (yes, they service American cars too!) and brought her in for noisy brakes affected by San Francisco's steep hills. Justin Mills and the team at A+ took care of everything and then more! After their initial full car inspection I received an email with a comprehensive write-up on the car with photos of the parts that needed attention. Justin walked me through each item and helped me prioritize the timing on fixing each part, understanding of my budget. Today I picked up my car after the second round of work and Justin blew me away again with over-delivering on the work. I set the budget, he made the work happen within that number and the car was ready in 24 hours (clearly timing is dependent on the work).I drive from San Francisco to have my car worked on at A+ and to work with Justin and his team. It's the first time I felt safe and comfortable with a mechanic and I'm willing to make the trek for that! Women, if you're looking for a place to get your car checked out and worked on, A+ Japanese is that place! Ask for Justin!

I've had two excellent experiences with A+ in the last two weeks: one while getting my headlight replaced and another while getting many issues taken care of with my wife's car. Both times, Justin Mills was the service lead and I can't say enough good things about how professional, courteous and thoughtful Justin was. He kept me up to date on the status of the repair, was very direct about any/all potential costs and even covered my rides back to my office via Uber. Justin took care of our cars like they were his own and at the end of the day, this is exactly what I want in a service center.Justin and A+ were recommended by one of my best friends and I can't reiterate that recommendation enough!
