A+ Japanese Auto Repair, Inc.
I recently bought a 2010 Mazda 5. According to another workshop near my workplace in SF, I had dirty transmission fluid, and I decided to go to A+ on a weekend for a full transmission fluid flush. I turned up at A+ with my own ATF and filter, but Naaem insisted that his techs take a look at it before recommending what action to take. In the end, they recommended that I do two drain-and-fills back-to-back for $175 including OEM ATF, which apparently is something they do quite often. This ended up being cheaper than the labor alone for a full flush, which would have been $200+ (not the lowest quote I got, but within reason). They also asked me to go back after 500miles for a follow-up check to make sure everything is ok.A+ may not be the cheapest around, but it's reasonable, and I like that they were trying to determine what was the best course of action rather than just doing what I thought should be done and earning more money from it. Very good customer experience overall. For fixes other than simple DIYs like oil/filter/spark plug changes, I'd go back to A+.
