Competent, high-integrity shop. Extremely pleased with the work they did on my Isuzu. I especially like the way diagnostic information is presented (when they're in detective mode): They summarize the data (evidence), and then present their hypothesis as to what is going on. I do a lot of my own maintenance and engine work (plus I have an applicable engineering degree); I reached the same conclusions as they did ... but it's very reassuring to see their logic and efficiency when something odd has occurred. Also, none of the mechanics I spoke with had an "attitude".

I came in to have my oil changed. Decided to sit at the office and wait. Being in customer service for over 30 years, I think I can truthfully judge that aspect of A-1! EXCEPTIONAL! Each phone call was received as if the customer was the most important people they knew!Now to Rob. As always top notch! And his ability to clearly change auto lingo to our lingo is amazing. The oil change was a short wait, and when I walked out they were washing my car, and putting some shinning stuff on my tires! A1 is one place that I will be sending lots of people. Check engine light fix. Justin was great, went above and beyond to help me work through the process. Great customer service and my car passed smog as promised. Very happy and already recommending to friends. Why go anywhere else?

I have been going to a shop since I got my Land Cruiser until, I asked him to replace my PHH (pesky heater hose), he said it still looks good, but he's pointing to me a wrong hose (i'm not a gearhead but I know what it is). There is nothing wrong with it but I needed it replaced as a PM. I knew he was wrong until I went to A+ Japanese auto repair. PHH was solved. Good experience from the moment I entered the door. Customer service is excellent, even met one of the owners (Eric). Price is competitively better than any major auto shop, and, with better service. Justin is great and so is Rob. Very friendly people... They even washed my rig. Ain't that something... This is a great story for "pleasant approach, meets a pleasant response"....

I was not sure how bad my car was when I arrived at A+ Japanese Auto Repair. Then I was assisted by Justin Mills. He was spectacular! He gave a clear and concise run down of the issue with my car as well as answered all of my questions. The repairs where done quickly and where very cost effective. I will definitely be bringing my Passat back for any needed repairs in the future! Thank you Justin!
