As is custom, service at A+ Japanese Auto Repair went above and beyond. They performed the "Spring Special" on my aging auto and also found several ways to improve performance and gas mileage. And they did it on time! I will continue to take my Prelude to be serviced there, and the new car, too!

A+ makes auto service as painless as possible. They drop me off at work, pick me up from work, and provide an EA discount. And it doesn't hurt that they do plug-in conversions on site and always have the latest knowledge on the status of plug-in rebates from Sacramento.

My 95 Subaru Legacy stalled during the morning commute on south 101 near the 84 junction. AAA was quick to assist and the dispatcher gave me a list of nearby garages. I heard her say "Japanese Auto Repair" and since my car was a Subaru I told her that was the shop I'll get towed to. We got to A+ Japanese Auto Repair before they opened so waited 10 minutes when Rob Lucas arrived. I related the morning symptoms and Rob quickly hooked up a battery charger and got my car started. However the car would not stay running without the charger so Rob explained that further testing would be necessary. Rob called Enterprise Car Rental and I was picked up and on my way to my job in a rental car. Before noon Rob called and explained that my alternator had failed and I authorized its' replacement. Rob quoted a repair cost that I deemed acceptable. I picked up my repaired car at 4pm. Rob explained the tests that had been completed to "make the car safe". I was happy to see in the service report that my car was taken up to freeway speed during the tests. From start to finish, I felt I was in honest and competent service hands with Rob Lucas and A+ Japanese Auto Repair. It is a pleasure to experience this level of service. All the stress of getting your car fixed is relieved when you entrust the repair to A+. Thanks Rob!

They explained that service the dealer recommended wasn't close to necessary (yet). Great service including pick-up and drop-off. Nice to get pictures in email showing details of recommended repairs.
