I am new to the Bay Area and my car started having some issues. I looked online fit a place to take it. After liking at a few websites I open Japanese Auto Repair. The website impressed me-it was informative, easy to navigate, local small business. That’s why I called them first. After a few minutes conversation with Justin, the service manager, i was sold! He was beyond polite, very respectful and completely transparent about initial cost and potential costs, and had us come in right away. After their initial inspection, we received a message with photographs of what they looked at on my car, identified what they thought the problem was, and gave me a list of things that needed immediate attention and those I could put off for a bit. I have never had such “upfront” detail for service. Again, impressed! We decided in the with to do now and would vegan. There was a day delay due to the wait in a needed part, and Justin called right away to notify me and apologize for the delay. (altho it was not their fault) I picked up the car and again was treated like “family”. I asked Justin fit some future car advice, and he was very informed and helpful. We will be taking our cars here from now on whenever needed and referring anyone we know to them!
