Charged a lot just to diagnose suspension noise, even though they never found a problem. I did not feel that they were very trustworthy. Seemed to me they were trying too hard to be friendly, and not hard enough to deliver good service.

Good morning James! My name is Eric S. co-owner of A+ Japanese Auto Repair in San Carlos. I just checked out the invoice from March 2019 and it looks like we performed a road test with you and also spent time inspecting the vehicle on the rack. After spending some time on the vehicle, it looks like we were unable to duplicate the metallic scraping type noise. The notes mentioned that we offered for you to return if the noise came back more regularly. I would be totally fine issuing a refund for the inspection work.
