San Carlos Auto Repair

These guys rock. I seriously am clueless when it comes to cars and Rob and his team could not have been nicer. We have a very old truck that most shops wouldn't even want to deal with and not only did A+ deal with us multiple times, but they were upfront about what we needed to do, did great work at a seriously great price. The icing on the cake was that they came in under what they quoted me every time. A+'s customer service is terrific, warm and friendly from the minute you walk in, emails with pictures throughout the process, phone calls with updates when things came up and I just truly felt taken care of the entire time. What a great find in San Carlos--I would send anyone here without a hesitation.

This was on the spur appointment. I have a Toyota Sienna. Two bulbs were out in my dash and center console. I contacted Toyota 101 to inquire about getting them replaced. They quoted me 1.5 hours labor = $189.00 to have the job done. Crazy, as they are two $5.00 bulbs! Went into A+ and they gave me a max price estimate of $130.00. Decided to go with A+ for the repair. Turns out they replaced both bulbs in 20 minutes = $70.00 approx. Huge savings and guess what the new bulbs work exactly the same as what Toyota 101 would have done. Shoot they are the same bulb! As is custom, service at A+ Japanese Auto Repair went above and beyond. They performed the "Spring Special" on my aging auto and also found several ways to improve performance and gas mileage. And they did it on time!

A+ makes auto service as painless as possible. They drop me off at work, pick me up from work, and provide an EA discount. And it doesn't hurt that they do plug-in conversions on site and always have the latest knowledge on the status of plug-in rebates from Sacramento.

I am always skeptical about auto repair shops and question their integrity/honesty. A+ Japanese Auto Repair is a straight up and honest business. No upsell, no hustle. The entire staff is extremely professional and courteous. When these guys say they are going to "try to make something happen" to provide excellent customer service, they mean it! I would highly recommend these folks for your Japanese auto needs. They provide top notch customer service, and they stand behind their work. - Kudos guys!!!!!!
