I was recommended to A+ on an online forum by someone who had driven from Idaho to have them work on his truck. I was looking for someone familiar with my specific truck and so ended up contacting Jason. I initially contacted Jason looking to set up a pre buy inspection. Well, the way buying a used car goes I eventually made and cancelled several appointments trying to find the right vehicle. Jason spent a total of more than an hour in phone calls and questions as I went through my process. I had not yet spent a dime in his shop and he was still free and open with his time and advice. When the right vehicle came along I chose to make the long drive from Santa Cruz to have Jason and his team at A+ do the work. It was worth the extra effort. Great communication every step of the way and when things didn't go quite as planned with my repair he even found me a loaner last minute. I am definitely someone who's trust must be earned in the auto repair world and Jason and his team definitely earned my trust with the way they run their business!

I've never found anyone else who I would let work on my cars!!!! Without a doubt the most honest mechanics Ive ever had. If you like your car and keeping money in your pocket this is your place.

This shop should be the golden standard of how shops should be ran. Each inspection point was completed with photos, condition and recommendation. In addition, all of it was easily accessible through a link that was provided via text. The work here is professional and honest. This will be my go to shop from now on.

Quality job and the communication was great! I was kept in the loop on the status of my repair the whole time. I received a detailed report of their findings and we agreed on a plan to move forward. It was nice that they work with a local car rental place in case you need wheels while they fix yours.

I cant say enough good things about Justin Mills and the team at A+ Japanese Auto Repair. Our car died in an intersection. Just died out of nowhere. We had it towed to A+ and they were able to determine that somewhere during our road trip that weekend, a rock had spun up underneath the car and damaged the radiator. I ask you- What are the odds of that??? Justin worked with our insurance to get the repairs done the right way, with factory parts, and even loaned us a courtesy car. It was amazing. I didn't even have to miss work! No one likes to deal with unexpected things like that, but Justin and the whole team at A+ Japanese turned a stressful situation right around and made it no hassle for us. We absolutely won't take our car anywhere else.
