I got A+'s info from AAA and I'm so happy I did!  To start I had to go to them because the car I purchased needed a new transmission and a few other things!  I was so upset/embarrassed about it and did know where to look!
A+ took the time to educate me about purchasing a used car, educated me about what does what in my car, and kept me up to date with everything!  To put the icing on the cake, when my car was in their shop they let me use their company car!  The only thing I had  to do is just fill up the gas tank!
Thank you A+ Japanese auto team!!

Best Customer Experience. Highly recommend. I worked with Justin to get a sway bar replaced on a Nissan xterra. His customer service was excellent, worked with me along the way to get it done quickly, and when the part took longer than expected to arrive, he helped with a shop car. This is just one example but he went way above my expectations. I'd give it a 5 star on quality of service and price as well.

I took my aging Prius (200K+ miles) in for routine maintenance and everything checked out perfectly. Justin one of the two excellent Service Managers at A+ took care of everything efficiently and speedily: my transportation to and from the shop, status calls informing me of the results of the inspection and when the car would be ready for pick-up, and a fast payment checkout. I can drive my "mature" auto with confidence knowing that A+ is doing the work to keep it "healthy."

This is my 2nd review for A+ Japanese.

We recently bought my son's 2008 Smart car FourTwo and went to there for a complete checkup.  Justin gave us a list of recommended issue/repairs.  Our major concern was safety, so we decided to have the brakes front and back fixed and address the other issues later.

But a major headache was an issue with a battery drain.  They diagnosed the problem to an aftermarket alarm.  Justin gave me 2 options, pull the fuse to the alarm or pull out the alarm completely. Not wanting to spend any more money on labor, I told Justin to pull the fuse.  After a short pause, he told me A+ Japanese doesn't take short cuts and everything should be done correctly the FIRST time.  To my surprise, he decided to pull it out for FREE.

That's what I call customer service :).  I really appreciated that.  Thanks A+ Japanese, I'll definitely be back for my future car needs.

Amazing customer service and attention to detail. They will not force you in doing repairs that might not be necessary and will give you their expert opinion on what they find. Will definitely be back again in the future.

Let me start by saying that I know my way around a car. I love tinkering with my cars and making them go faster or handle better. I just don't love doing boring basic maintenance like changing fluids or chasing down the occasional weird noise. So, when it came time to figure out why my my wife's Acura MDX seemed like it was dragging/hesitating when backing out of a parking space, I decided to take it to these guys based on their yelp reviews. I guessed that it was either a dragging brake caliper or god forbid, the all-wheel-drive system going out. So, I made the call and spoke with Justin on the phone and told him about the car. I also mentioned that since it just turned 100,000 miles that we should probably look to doing the hundred thousand mile service including the timing belt. I mention this because Justin or any other unscrupulous auto repair shop could have taken me for a ride and said that the all-wheel-drive system needs to be changed or that brake calipers have to replaced disassembled. But they didn't and that says a lot. Justin's technicians go over the whole car and made recommendations about what needed to be changed based on the mileage and age of the car. There are a number of things that need to be changed like The transmission fluid differential fluid, spark plugs and of course big-ticket item - the timing belt. All of this was going to cost a significant amount of money. I told Justin that I was contemplating possibly selling the car and I wanted to think about whether or not I want to invest in having all of this deferred maintenance performed. To Justin's credit, he suggested that if I was going to sell the car, to NOT do any of it and just sell vehicle...he didn't try to push for the sale. We decided to keep the car and have 8 years of deferred maintenance, minus a few little things that I can do by myself, done by A+ Japanese Auto Repair. Hopefully, we wont have to see these guys for a while, but if we need ANY work done on our car(s) I will not hesitate to come back. Justin is great to work with. I hope he owns part of this company, this has been one of the best service experiences(from any business) that I have had. Keep up the good work!

Over the year I have come to trust Justin and the team at A+Japanese Auto. I try to take good care of my car. Justin always gives me the low down on what my options are. Yes some times I have had surprises that cost more than I anticipated. Once the mechanics start working on your car there maybe something unexpected, but A+ has always been very through, making sure my car is in the best running condition it can be in for it's age. Eric and Adam chose parts because of the quality. They have outstanding people that work there. The thing is that they let the customer make the choice. So if you can't afford to have everything done. They do what they can for you. This is a quality shop. So I trust them to have body work done on my car too. Yes it is a bit more expensive, but Justin, just like the other reps, make sure the job is done well. If they notice something funny going on with my car, they tell me. I have never had bad service at A+Japanese Auto. They are professional and really honestly good people giving their best to get the job done right. Justin is awesome. I trust him implicitly.
