While waiting to pick up a Tundra, I had the opportunity to see Justin in action with a number of people on the phone and in the shop. He is a true professional with an amazing focus on the customer. He was juggling a number of issues, all with calm and grace. I had thought it was just me that that he was treating with respect and good manners, but after seeing the same with 4 or 5 other customers, he's the real deal. And, oh yeah, they do excellent work at the shop!

I came across A+ Japanese Auto Repair by complete accident (almost literally). I hit a massive pothole on 101 early one rainy morning and the air pressure sensor went off on my jetta. I limped off the freeway and to a nearby gas station. In the early morning darkness (plus chilly rain) I attempted to add air to my tire (hoping I could make it to work and then call AAA). This was not working so I looked up near by auto repair places hoping to avoid having to be towed (my tires are run flats otherwise towing would have been the only option).

It was amazingly lucky that I was super close to A+ Japanese Auto Repair. I pulled up a few minutes before they were scheduled to open but I could see people in the office. I walked in and asked that even though my car was not Japanese, would they please be able to change/fix my flat tire? They were all helpful and I was soon being check in by Justin. He was super duper nice and explained everything that was happening to my car. Turns out it was more serious than a flat, the wheel/rim was majorly bent. Then Justin offered to let me use one of their shop cars for the rest of the day, and beyond if my car wasn't fixed. I was in shock; it was so nice of them/him. I ended up driving their Prius around over the weekend and partway through the next week. It was a lifesaver!

Justin made sure to provide detailed updates about their progress and even would make two calls each update so that my husband would hear first hand and not have to suffer through my attempts to explain the details. He sourced the parts needed, which being for a VW rather than a Japanese make was probably more work than usual and made sure my car was repaired quickly and safely. I highly recommend this shop and especially Justin, who made crummy situation so much better. Thank you!

I couldn't be more impressed with A+ Japanese Auto repair.  From start to finish they treated me with such kindness and efficiency that I couldn't believe I hadn't come here sooner. I am so grateful for the work they did on my car and would recommend them to anyone!

I couldn't have been happier with the service I received at A+. From the time i made my appointment to the time when I picked the car up the staff could not have been more professional. They were kind, prompt, efficient and took every measure to make sure my car was taken care of. I would highly recommend A+ auto to anyone!

Had significant work done last year at A+. New problems surfaced this year (car beyond 100k miles). I thought transmission, but as with last year Naim ensured his team correctly diagnosed the problem. While completing the needed work he had his team recheck the work done the prior year because it was possible to do so with the disassembly done with the work. Honest and honorable place, and that's worth it's weight when it comes to cars.

The most organized, courteous, and helpful auto shops I've encountered in the Bay Area. They start when they said they would, finished on time, and provided helpful tips and insights. I'd highly recommend!

I had my front brakes redone on my 2004 Infinity. I saved 30% over the price quoted to me by a dealer. Service was very timely and prompt. I definitely would go back to A-1 Japanese Car Service.

I started going to this place out of curiosity about 3 years ago. Best decision I made formal auto care shop. Time and time again they surprise me how good of service they provide with quality work. They are very compatible with pricing and will beat just about anyone. Anytime I call them for an issue they fit me in fairly quickly. I have a 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX that I take lots of pride in and only let certain people touch it. I fully trust them to give my car the care it needs. I usually go through Naeem to set up appointments or to try to fit in last minute. I highly recommend this shop for all your auto care. Another aspect I love about this shop is the ride service they provide, they will drop you off or pick you up. You will not be disappointed.
