I am pretty cartarded and always feel like I'm being ripped off by auto shops. I can easily say that Justin at A+ Japanese auto was the most helpful auto specialist I have ever dealt with. I knew that I was being taken care of and not being taken advantage of.He always made sure that I was informed on progress of my car. He also held my insurance company accountable in matters where they tried to avoid responsibility. The work that was done was superior and Justin is the only person that I will ever return to for auto problems so long as I'm in the bay.

This was my first time at A+ Japanese Auto repair - The most amazing and efficient customer service I have ever experienced! I brought in my car (had been evaluated at 2 other shops with no resolution) and Naeem assured me they would diagnose and repair the problem. They kept the car for several days and provided me a rental so I wasn't without a vehicle. He kept me updated every step of the way, the issue was identified and repaired. I will not take my car to any other mechanic and have told my friends and kids to bring their cars here to be serviced. Thank you to Naeem and your team!

Pros: Justin is an amazing Service Advisor who makes intelligent & honest recommendations. I walked in thinking that I needed new brakes & rotors on front & rear. The truth was that the advisors at Honda lied and did not tell me that my rotors are perfect candidates for resurfacing. Honda also said I needed all four tires and Justin showed me that was not true, I only needed two for now & the other two could wait. Moreover they quote you on quality OE-like parts, not aftermarket "no name" parts. ** the pricing seems high at first glance & they charge for multi-point inspection... After careful thought, the prices are right in line with the quality, warranty & turnover time that you are receiving. Lastly many other shops give you free inspections as a way to try and lure you into needless repairs. You pay for the inspection up front but if everything looks good they will tell you the truth!Summary: I came here with an extreme time crunch & they got it done in under 48 hours, with professional installation & quality parts. They value long lasting relationships with customers & it shows.

TL; DR: good service, they stand behind their work.I've been taking both my cars here for several years. They have very high standards for maintaining cars (my cars are a bit older, '08 Odyssey and an '04 RX330). They recommend appropriately, but do not push if you want to wait and spread out the costs until the next service.They are honest too.Recently they initially diagnosed a leak as a differential issue, which would have been about $1800 to repair. I authorized the work...then they came back and found out it was a gasket leaking oil instead. It was a gasket they had replaced a year or so earlier around the valve covers. So, instead of $1800, they replaced the gasket under their 2-year 20,000 mile guarantee. Thanks, Naeem!Pretty much means they have a customer from here on out. Good people.

I brought my Mazda into A+ because my front light was out and having electrical problems. They were awesome. They found the problem and were able to find the parts after market to keep my cost down. I was so pleased that they found the issue and were able to fix it for less than they quoted. I appreciate how friendly and professional everyone was. I love that they uber or lyft you back home and pick you up. I will never bring my car back to the dealer again.

These guys are no doubt the best in town the work they do is always solid. Most of my service there has been arranged by Justin who is really honest about what my car really needs vs. could have repaired at some point. He's eager to help you with anything else you need, always offering a ride and even opening my car door for me when I leave. The guy is a true professional and I'm always confident leaving my car with this group.

After a bad service experience with local dealership, where I used to take my car for servicing, I very reluctantly decided to try out other local service shops for my Lexus. I browsed Yelp and noticed A+ Japanese auto repairs with over 600 reviews with 4+ stars. After talking to Justin and noticing difference in price compared to dealership, I decided to go with them. Even though it cost me more than just 70000 miles servicing charges as there were a few other items that needed fixing, I sensed honesty and proofs for needed fixing. Suzanne, the office assistant was also very sweet in arranging uber both ways. I am hoping in the future it will consistently be a good service / repair experience for me with A+ and I will no longer have to search for other repair shops or have to pay for additional work that is not required.

Good service, good prices, and fast turn around. Is this "discount" service? No. It's great quality service with a large emphasis on getting your car back to you as quickly as possible. Bring your car here and rest easy knowing that they will give you honest appraisals and fair prices for the quality of service. If you want the dirt cheap price, go to the sketchy no brand gas station and enjoy.

I took my Camry into A+ after it suddenly started smoking last week, and I have never been so impressed with an auto shop's service. From start to finish, Justin was helpful, informative, and transparent. He explained the issue and the suggested repairs in a clear, straightforward, and non-condescending way. Furthermore, while service was not cheap, the final bill came out lower than the original estimate, which is a rare experience. Drop-off and pick-up were also incredibly convenient, with a lock box for after hours pick-up.
