I have a 2002 Subaru Impreza, the check engine light started flashing one night, Never a good thing. I had Lola towed to A+ based on online reviews, and I am not disappointed. I have been working with Justin there. He has been on top of checking in with me, and updating me about Lola's recovery. The honesty from him about everything has been refreshing. A few days after getting Miss Lola back, she started making a weird scary sound when I was turning. I brought her back to Justin, and they worked quickly to get her fixed and back on the road to me. It is nice being able to trust them to take care of your car. and the 2 year 24,000 mile warranty on their work is a great bonus! I am so happy with their service that I will not go anywhere else. Thank you again for taking such good care of my baby!

Have a 1997 Sarurn SL. Replaced sunroof I supplied & the work was excellent. This was in Sept '14. Now they serviced my car for regular maintainice. Found items that needed to be addressed. Explained fully & showed photos of problems. Work was excellent as expected! Please note this is first time did not go to dealer since buying car new in 1997. Will not go anywhere else now! Justin was great coordinating both jobs, always kept me updated. Recommend A+ Japanese everyone!!

I have been working with Justin from a+ for a long time and I've always had a great experience when I need urgent or scheduled repairs on my Chevy Tahoe. The pick up and delivery service is very convenient and even if I need a rental they will make sure to coordinate everything quickly. The quality, professionalism and honesty of A+ Japanese Auto is unsurpassed. I set up an appointment with Justin Mills, Customer Service Advisor and brought my 15 year old Lexus to for a computerized evaluation. I was amazed to discover that the engine was in excellent condition and that the repairs were not insurmountable. I was told I had to address the issue of normal wear and tear for a vehicle that had 140,000 miles on it. He gave me a fair estimate and I gave it the go ahead. Not only did Justin work with me on a fair price for labor and parts, but he added a couple of extras at no additional cost. (It was a big job!) When I picked up my car, I couldn't b believe it was same car I dropped off. I was pristine inside and out and when I drove it, I felt as though I were driving a new car. I highly recommend Justin Mills and the A+ Japanese Auto Repair team.

Just an update, still a great auto shop that is completely trustworthy!We're still taking our '02 Accord there (200k+ miles) and have added an '03 Toyota Camry to our car family too.We primarily deal with Justin now and it's very obvious that he cares about our cars and our safety/well-being. He's always honest about our car situation and genuinely supports us in repair decisions.Recently, Justin's had to see us on several occasions over the past few months. Our car randomly won't start sometimes but we haven't been able to pinpoint the cause. Instead of turning us away and insisting there is no problem, Justin and his team have continued to search for the root of the issue repeatedly. He never makes us feel inferior and always explains and re-explains technical explanations to make sure I feel comfortable. And again, apart from quality service, their best feature is their role as car advisors.Their ability to prioritize car repairs set them apart. They'll call it like they see it and let you make the final decision.

When it comes to the service and repair on your Honda accord our mechanics are the best on the peninsula as far as we are concerned... However, they are not expert car washers ;) and it sounds like we owe you a detail. I can not be more impressed with the personal nature of this business and the helpful efforts of Rob. What I needed was some automotive specifications on my daughters car. Normally, auto shops will not give you the time of day. Rob not only located this information, he even faxed it to me! I do most of the work on my cars but if I ever needed a shop, A+ would be my first choice. I am a teacher so I know what A+ work looks like. Bob

When I came to the bay area from "back east" and needed to upgrade to CA smog standards, A+ was not only the the nicest, most cost affective and creative, but they VALUE my loyalty and are ever ready to help me out. I have brought every car there ever since, whether Japanese or American - I trust them to use quality parts and supplies and to treat me fairly. Once I asked them why shouldn't people use one of those cheap advertised quick change places and when I realized all the extras I get, how they KNOW my vehicle and the quality of the oil etc., it was a no brainer. FAMILY OWNED and local - THANKS A+ for always having my safety in mind.

I am 100% confident in dealing with A+. They are very thorough backing everything they recommend up with pictures. I would rather have something presented to me that they know is a problem and if I choose to do it fine, I know I will be taken care of, if I choose not to do it then it is on me. I would rather be told about looming issues than not be told just because that wasn't the reason I originally brought in the car.I have no reason to not want to come back - Thanks Guys!!!
