Justin went out of his way to match the price of a clutch and fly wheel installation estimate I was given from another shop. He was also very generous to waive the service fee as well as apply a yelp deal I had towards the total. Both Justin and the mechanic who worked on my car took the time to explain to me exactly what needed replacing/fixing and why. When I came back a week later w/ a dead starter they fixed my car quickly, and worked to accommodate my work schedule for drop off/pick up in addition to supplying me with a rental car. I felt well taken care of, and appreciate their hard work.

As always, my checkup on my 2007 Toyota, went well, more expensive than I thought it would be, but Rob is always on top of everything, and I appreciate that he is always looking after my best interest in keeping my car in tip top condition, as I utilize it mostly for hauling around my grandchildren all the time. I can always count on the best service from A+ and will continue to use them while I continue to drive!!!

I can't say enough about how great the service was at A+ Japanese Auto Repair! I was visiting from out of the area and my car broke down over the weekend. They got me in first thing Monday and not only fixed my alternator problem, but gave me a good price on belt changes, and water pump replacements that were needed anyway. I appreciated their quick service, clean facility, concern, work guarantee and overall helpfulness! I visit this area frequently, so if I ever need car repair again while there, THIS will be where I take my car! I highly recommend this business!

Work performed included diagnosing a check engine light, proposing a repair and executing the repair. 97 Toyota 4runner. The shop was very accommodating to a limited schedule, allowing multiple drop-offs and pick-ups over a couple of weekends to complete the work. This ability to work with the customer is invaluable, and one of the reasons I will certainly return to A+ for future work. Bringing the car in on several occasions for one fix did cause one issue which I was not pleased with. A weekend mechanic did not get the correct information for the repair, and did not complete the repair which caused a return to the shop that lasted 4 days over another weekend. In the end, the repair was made correct. Price was very fair. Additionally, when the car was returned to me, it was washed, tires cleaned, interior cleaned, carpet cleaned. Thanks A+

Had a big trip last weekend down to Santa Barbara, and I knew I had been delaying my oil change too long to go without one, so I tried to find a quick place to get an oil change before I left on Friday. Rob hooked me up! Got me in and out all in an afternoon; even had someone pick me up at work when it was all finished.

The contracted work was done in a very timely manner. The staff was very professional.

Great professional service. I've been taking my car here for years and always get my car fixed in a timely manner without having to come back to fix something else (*cough* Honda repair shops). And a big shout out to Justin! He is always very courteous, professional, and takes wonderful care of me :)I'm taking off one star for the prices. Yes, I understand that most auto repair shops charge an arm and a leg for their services. I just I wish A+ JAR wasn't one of them...

The technicians I read all these reviews and they go on and on about how great the service writer is or was. Let me clue all of you yelpers in on something those guys rant the ones you want to give your praise to. If your truly satisfied with your experience. Ask for the name of the real miracle worker who poured his heart and soul into making your vehicle perform at it's best. Those are the guys who go home and think about your vehicle who stress over being efficient,giving proper diagnosis, and performing your vehicles repairs correctly the first time on time!! And all I ever read about is how great these ignorant service advisers are. Those guys are puppets reading you what the real source of your great experience has written. So remember ask who worked on your vehicle so you can give them your praise and request their great service in the future!!
