I drove from NC to CA in 2 days. Desperate for an oil change and great service, I found these guys. I was in a rush, and they were very busy. But the team there figured out a way to fit me in right then. Everyone there was great, especially Justin, and I could tell this was a great place to get auto work done. I will definitely return for everything else I need done to my car.

I brought in my 2000 Xterra knowing that it probably needed a few things... spark plugs, fix oil leak, replace belts maybe... I could not be happier with the customer service here. Rob took care of everything for me including offering to stay open a little later to accommodate my work schedule, and securing a rental car for me, hassle-free! I really love that they emailed me pictures of what they found in my car, a lot of the issues I was expecting (spark plugs, etc) I was told were fine for the time being, so I appreciate not being upsold on every little thing. The issues they did find were legitimate and again, with the pictures I could see the problems for myself. Now my car runs great, I immediately felt the difference when I picked it up from the shop. Great customer service and communication so I will definitely be back.

Have been back 2 times and Rob helped me on both services. He is very helpful and is willing to work with you on prioritizing the work. I had to go back a 2nd time in the recent service with some follow-up and Rob took care of the missed issue and a little more. Wish I did not have to double-back but am glad they took care of it not only professionally but also with a great attitude!

The outcome sevice quality seems good. However, the process of getting the car serviced was not as smooth as I would have expected from all the positivie reivews.- After I review the cost estimate and agreed to the work, I got a call that it's actually much more than what the estimate was as they made a mistake on how much labor was going to cost- I was initially promised the car would be available in a day. Then it turned out to be two.- They sent me photos of my car after I had already picked it up...out of sequence. I reached out the serivce manager twice over 2 weeks and have still not heard back.In the meantime, A+ sends me what seems to be an automatically generated survey to ask for my feedback.

I am always scared to go to a Auto Repair Shop since I am a female that knows nothing about cars. Referred by a friend, I had a great experience here, and so will you! Quin and Justin took great care of my car and myself. They were professional, reliable, and trustworthy! Justin explained everything to me, got me an estimate over the phone quickly, ordered my parts quickly, location was clean, and everyone was friendly. Phone update on my car, no change in my estimate, and my car was ready that night, ready for pick up next day!! (He told me Monday so WOW). He did all this on a busy Friday for me!! So I paid over the phone so I just had to pick up Saturday AM. Went to pick up my car, and a different guy there (sorry, didn't catch your name) told me my 3rd break light was out. He said not to worry about it, and since they are concerned for my safety, they took care of it for me super fast on the spot too. They showed such compassion and care!! Anyways, the work on my car was done professionally, cheaper than a dealership, better than the dealership! Have a Japanese car? They know their stuff :) Thanks guys, AWESOME!

Absolutely outstanding service...... Both my son and I have been going to Japanese A+ auto for years. Justin has been taking care of my car for years. I'm sure it is the only reason it is still working!! Excellent service, Excellent prices. Safety most important issue. It's like having a family watch over you.. Greatly appreciated.

First review I've ever written. On the whole: outstanding service. Things that stood out: 1. Honesty 2. Excellent service 3. Clear and managed expectations 4. Strong communication throughout the process 5. Fair pricing. 5. All around good people, and a real pleasure to do business with. Rob helped me through everything. If you're like me and most people, when something goes wrong with your car, you have no idea what's going on. Due to a faulty engine from Honda, my engine cracked and the engine coolant leaked out. Basically the engine broke in the middle of the road. I called A+ and they sent someone out within 2 minutes to pick me up and take me to the shop (this was mid-day). I met with Rob, who was very clear and open from the start about pricing. I valued this a lot - honest is scarce in this business. They took my car to their shop, dropped me off at my office, and handled everything from there. Long story short - Rob was my liaison with Honda and did EVERYTHING for me, even managing to get me a new engine. From my perspective, my car broke down on a Wednesday and I got a new engine, for free, with the car ready to be used on the subsequent Tuesday. Truly a seamless process dealing with honest and fair people.

I bought a used 4-runner with 227,000 miles on it knowing full well that it'd need some work. I took it straight to A Plus. Rob and Eric took care of me like I was royalty.Car repair can be frustrating, mostly because so much of it is mysterious to a non-mechanic. But A+ earned my trust immediately by going over what the inspection would cover, sending pictures of everything mid-inspection, telling me why they were looking at what they were looking at, etc etc.A couple times I asked about things (do I need a new starter? Alternator? Tires?). The response was always: "I could sell that to you if you demanded it, but you don't need it. I'm not going to sell you on parts just to sell them".Oh, and they drove me to a nearby shopping center to hang out for a couple hours so I wasn't cooped up in a waiting room. Then, it turned out the truck needed a new transmission... Yikes. I was afraid of that since it was shifting funny on the way down. Rob communicated the issues to me in no-nonsense language (and even some humor, believe it or not), then called around and found a very lightly used transmission for a big discount instead of upselling me on a new one. Then he booked me a rental car at a shop-discounted rate, I was picked up at the shopping center and my truck went under the knife.Now the truck is a dream! It's like new, and I have the piece of mind that there aren't any mysterious problems about to appear. These guys have just earned a lifetime customer. Thank you Rob. Thank you Eric. I'm looking forward to many adventures in my "new" truck.
