Justin Mills had been my service adviser for years but at the dealership where I had bought my car. I have always had my car serviced at the dealership but not anymore. I found Justin Mills at A+Japanese and was happy once again that my vehicle was in the right hands. He is the best that A+ Japanese can have. All other staff at A+ Japanese are very nice and customer service oriented and I would highly recommend anyone to take their vehicles for servicing there. I had my vehicle serviced at the dealership last and when A+ Japanese had looked at my car, they discovered that I had the wrong transmission fluid put in at my last oil change. We pay a lot for keeping our vehicles up to date and we need the right people to take care of our vehicle servicing needs so as to alleviate the additional stress from our busy lives.

I had to reschedule my appointment several times and they were very accommodating. Owner was super friendly and repairs were quick. Will definitely come back again.

I called and spoke with Rob after not being able to get a call back from the service Departments at either of the Mitsubishi dealerships left on the peninsula. I described the warning light that had come on, as well as other maintenance issues. Rob arranged for me to drop the car off and provided a complimentary rental car. All of the work was completed in just two days, and at a very fair price. Rob continued to communicate with me through the repair process & kept me informed. I am please at not only the quality and timeliness of the work performed on my car, but am truly impressed with the service and thoughtfulness of the entire staff. This was my first visit... but certainly won't be my last. I highly recommend A+ Japanese Auto Repair to anyone looking for fair pricing, great quality and the best service ever!

I have been a loyal fan since i first found A+ through the Mechanic Files of the Car Guys website; that was in 2001. Yes, they are a bit expensive, but the added perks or car shuttle to and from work and car rentals if they keep your car longer than expected hve been life savers. My 07 Accord with 125k miles is in perfect condition. I always deal with Rob. He's been great to work with. Thank You A+

While mechanical work is not always inexpensive, the crew at A+ went above and beyond my expectations. They were very detailed and thorough in the full point inspection and took pictures of everything. Justin, my Point-of-contact, went over all of the pictures of the damaged components with me and then broke the price down for each component. In this way, I was able to make the best decision for the current repairs. My car now runs smoothly and I will definitely be going back for any future repairs.

So this time you guys saved my life by discovering my rear brake cylinder had exploded and I was essentially driving on my front disc brakes. So I must give you an excellent, as usual! And thank you for the car rental, too.Carmen

I've always taken my car to the dealer where I bought it, for service, assuming they know all about my car. At my last routine service, I asked them to take a look at my front shocks. They said there was no leakage and didn't see anything wrong, but my Mazda wasn't handling the curves with construction-bumps on Hwy 17 as well as it used to. A relative of mine highly recommended A+ and although it was a bit of a drive from Santa Cruz, I need someone I could trust who would do the work right. During the initial inspection, I mentioned I recently had the thermostat replaced. Although I had brought the car in for shocks, they took the time to look under the hood at the newly installed thermostat. Man am I glad they did! I could clearly see it was leaking antifreeze! The dealer hadn't bothered to replace the 10 cent hose clamps when they installed my new $200 thermostat! How cheap & potentially damaging to my car. A+ has professional, friendly & knowledgeable staff who are genuinely concerned for their customers & their cars. No more dealer-service for my car. Count me as another loyal A+ customer!

It was such an easy experience to work with A+. They picked up my car and dropped it back off at work for me, it only took 5 minutes out of my day. I feel like the prices are somewhere in the middle between the cheeapest repair/oil changers and the dealers. I just got some maintenance service taken care of here and I would definitely go back again, especially with their pickup and dropoff service.
