I have nothing but good things to say about Justin and the A+ team. Justin made the process easy, quick, and honest. - they quoted me a fair amount and that is what I ended up paying- they picked up the phone when I called with questions and then answered them!- they were FAST, my car was towed in over a holiday weekend and I was able to pick it up by Tuesday evening- my car runs perfectly nowGreat customer service and they do good work. I'll bring the rest of my families cars here if/when they have problems.

Let me start out by saying, that the one thing I hate the most is going to auto mechanics. Unless you are really clued in on cars, you will get ripped off. I read a lot of reviews on Yelp, on a number of auto shops for Japanese cars. I went to A+ with a lot of trepidation. The Service at A+ is fab! Justin, who we dealt with, was excellent to deal with.A year ago, I had gone to the Lexus (Putnam, San Carlos) dealership, to fix my headlights and my rear parking sensors. They could not fix the lights ("oh it works"), and for the sensors they said the damages would be

These guys are great. I started taking my 2010 Nissan Murano to them back in early 2015, when a routine trip to the dealer found a head gasket leak. That's bad! And my car had not even 90k miles on it yet. They wanted me to go ahead and fix it right then for $5,000. Second opinion please! I found these guys on Yelp and sure enough, they did see the leak but said it wasn't something I need to fix right now and we would keep an eye on it....plus I had not experienced any problems or symptoms. They also advised that it honestly would not be worth it to repair considering the amount of work it would be to drop the engine and replace and advised me replacing the car would work better. So we kept an eye on it until end of 2015, when the leak became more active. TIme to trade! I still have an older Honda my daughter uses so I will bring to them whenever I can until my 3 year free maintenance agreement expires on my new car :) Just had them replace the water pump and price was pretty reasonable. They realized would not be done in one day and set me right up with a rental car, super easy. Car was ready the next day. I also like that they will call an Uber for me to take me to work AND to pick me up to get back for my car. That has always been the hard part, getting back to pick up my car. These guys are super nice, very straightforward and will never try to push a service on you...plus, they send you pictures of the issues as they are fixing. Can't get more straightforward then that. Go see them, you'll be happy you did...and so will your car! :)

I went in thinking that my under engine cover would need to be replaced for my Prius (per the dealer). After Justin and his team looked at, they were able to repair the torn cover without needing to replace it which would have cost $$$. Within a couple hours, Justin gave me a call to let me know the status and inform me of the good news and I was back on the road! A+ Japanese is the place to go for honest service!

What I really want is a car geek. I want someone who is just obsessed and super-enthused about the tiniest details of my car, and gives me complete peace of mind that they love what they do... The rest of the work takes care of itself, in my estimation.Not to get on the soapbox here but, yeah, that was A+ for me. Fantastic stuff. Get your car there now.

This place is amazing! The entire shop is geared towards enhancing their customers' car repair experience. It's like they studied the car repair market, and everywhere where they found a deficiency, they analyzed what would be the right thing to do, and designed their business around that philosophy! No wonder they are such a success!I had my car towed to A Plus Japanese, because of the glowing reviews I had read on Yelp! I worked with Justin, a personable man, who I felt had my best interest at heart. And true to what I had read in Yelp, he proved to be very honest, thorough, and such a pleasure to deal with, even considering my financial situation at the time, and making adjustments as a courtesy. He also had my oil topped off, at no extra cost.It turned out that the problem with my car was that the neutral switch needed to be replaced, a simple and inexpensive fix. Justin also recommended that a future de-carb job be done, as my car has 350,000 miles on it...a lot of carbon build up to get rid of!Because of Justin's honesty and kindness, I plan on bringing my car back to A Plus, for the next phase of its journey back to health!So, Thank you Justin and A Plus Japanese for everything you did in not only getting me and my car happily back on the road again, but most of all, for restoring my trust in the commercial car repair business! You truly are A Plus in my book!

Fantastic service! Toyota Sunnyvale wanted $3500 for transmission rack replacement on an old 2002 Toyota Prius. A+ Japanese offered to replace with a used transmission rack for $1300 with warranty for both parts and labor for 6 months (awesome!). When we finally dropped off the car, A+ Japanese quickly found that the problem was a loose electrical connector which they promptly secured. Total bill? $100Toyota Sunnyvale wanted $3500!!!!!
