My car broke down on 280 South coming from San Francisco. My transmission started slipping and I was forced to pull over onto the shoulder on a Saturday morning. I did a quick yelp search for any repair facilities that can help me in my situation and A+ Japanese had the highest review. I now know why they come highly recommended. I called A+ and Justin was the person that greeted me. I told him the current situation I was in and he was more than happy to help me. He set me up with a tow truck and tow it straight to the shop where it can be diagnosed. When I got to the shop, he made me feel very comfortable and even offered me something to drink. He basically broke down what was going to happen with the diagnostic procedure and gave me plenty of options which was great because I didn't feel pressured to do anything I didn't want to. He was very educational and friendly. Even though I ended up not fixing my car (R.I.P Acura TL), I would without a doubt bring my other cars there for service. I noticed that some people left reviews about A+ charging way too much, and I wanted to put it out there that as someone who has work in the automotive industry (and I still do to this day) that YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Some shops are willing to do it for cheap, but it doesn't mean it will be done better. It's only cheap if you get the repair done once, but if you have to shell out the money twice, it's no longer cheap.

Never a comfortable situation, I am glad we had the opportunity to make things a little easier for you.I understand the decision to not repair your Acura (It had a GREAT life), but there does come a time when the repair is not worth the expense, and we will always discuss the situation with you to make the best decision for you!
