They really go out of their way around customer service to ensure you have a great experience. This was very obvious and a big focus of their business.Service-wise, they fixed everything properly and efficiently as far as I can tell so far. They are very thorough in what they look for (including things like haze in the headlamps, which I declined to fix).Thanks to A+ for taking care of me!

I've been to A+ 3 times so far and all has been wonderful. Naeem is our service consultant and he is great. First time I've had a mechanic send me pictures of all the repairs that needs to be done, as well as tell the truth on what doesn't need to be done quite yet. After having bad experiences with mechanics, I have been wasting a lot of money going to the Acura dealer, and even have experienced the dealer breaking my car! I completely don't mind driving across the bay (I live in the Hayward hills) to come to this shop. Plus, I can get coffee, and a ride to Cal Trains so it's not a hassle.

Rob and the team took great care to fix a problem with my Xterra. They even fixed a persistent throttle issue that I didn't even tell them about. I can't say enough good things about this shop!

What a great place to have your car serviced! My daughters Car was seen at Toyota 101 for an oil change and we were told she needed s new water pump. The cost there was going to be 650.00 we went to A+ and it was half the price with great customer service!!Thank you:)

I moved to San Carlos at the end of 2013 and have been taking my car to A+ since then. I have always had a positive experience because they are honest and trustworthy. They will only do repairs that are necessary and get your approval first. I have dealt with Rob Lucas and have found him to be a pleasure to work with.

Always on top of their game. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my Japanese cars. The guys in the front office always make sure you know what's going on, and always with a friendly and professional attitude.

Was purchasing a used vehicle and needed it inspected. The customer service is exceptional right from the beginning when we were scheduling an appointment online. The test was scheduled quickly and it was very comprehensive. Rob explained the troubled areas as well, very glad to have found A+ Japanese Auto Repair.

We live in Oregon but both this summer and last summer were visiting family in the Bay Area when we encountered unexpected car problems. In both cases, A+ Japanese Auto Repair took outstanding care of both car and customer. Rob was not only clear in his explanations, but incredibly honest, patient, and supportive. He went above and beyond to rush the car through the repair process in order to have it up and running in time for a big 4th of July trip. I trust this repair shop implicitly and would recommend it to anyone in need of caring, professional, and reliable service. Now if they could only clone themselves with a Portland, OR, location...

Outstanding service from A+ Japanese! I've brought 2 cars I've had to this shop over the past 6-7 years and Justin has always given excellent service and made it an enjoyable experience. He is super friendly and outgoing, has genuine concern for the safety of your vehicle and is always able to squeeze me in for an appointment and is understanding when I've sometimes forgotten to show ( thank you Justin!!) :) He always lets you know what is recommended on your car immediately versus what can wait which I love. I like that he also always calls midday to give me updates on my car and keeps me involved in the whole process. I've been really happy with all the work they've done on my car and will continue to bring my car in to see the team at A+ Japanese. Call and ask for Justin, you will not be disappointed!!
