San Carlos Auto Repair

I think A+ Japanese is a top repair shop in the San Carlos area. I believe the work the mechanics do is priced fairly. Also I think the mechanics do a great job making the repairs to my Lexus. I especially like the fact they are open prior to their actual advertised time of 7:30a. It is very helpful to me since I need to drop my car off by 7:15a in order to get to work by 7:30a. Most always I am waited on immediately & then free to go.Thank you A+ Japanese!

I had a minor maintenance service for my Mazda 3 at the ship. Service is courteous and on time. However, on weekends, they are short staff in the front office and you may end up waiting a while even when you show up on time for your appointment.

The only reason I'm giving a 4 rather than a 5 is because I don't know enough about cars to validate the quality of their work. When it comes to very communicative customer service, conscientiousness, attention to detail in their invoices, and helping out with the logistics of getting my car to and from locations, they are a 5++. They even drove my car over to the dealership to get recall work done eliminating hassle for me. I'll be continuing my patronage at A+ Japanese Auto Repair, for sure!

I have been a faithful customer of A+ Japanese since 2004, and I have lived in Pacifica, San Bruno and San Mateo during that time span. Even though at times San Carlos is quite out of my way, I would never even dream of taking my car elsewhere. I was completely stunned during my first visit when Eric took the time to physically show me the parts requiring service and/or replacement on my car. Now they e-mail me photos, which is an amazing service.Not only is the experience of taking your car to A+ educational, it is also a breath of fresh air. The office staff is beyond friendly and very accommodating. I recommend A+ to all of my friends/family, and will continue to be a life-long customer.

A+ always does me solid. They take care of me like family, not like a customer. They do what they say they will and the cost is always more than fair. I will take my truck here as long as I'm in this area! A great job at a fair price.....What more do you want?

They had to torch off some bolts when replacing my trailing arm suspension. This took a lot longer but honored the estimate and did not charge me for the additional labor. Great Guys!

Great service as usual. I don't take my car anywhere else for service.

I normally have my car serviced with the dealer in Redwood City. Some of my co-workers talked so highly of this place, thought I should give them a shot. First, I will start by saying they are the most entertaining group of guys and they seem to love what they do!! Lol! My car needed a minor service which included an oil change and bumper to bumper inspection. I always hate to see the final recommendations, but thankfully it wasn't that bad. I will definitely bring my car back here for maintenance; I do however have one complaint: I dropped my car off at 8:30am and it wasn't completed until 4:30pm. I think that may be a little too long just for an oil change and inspections. When going to the dealer, my car only had a 2.5 hour stay at max. Nonetheless, I plan on returning to this shop. The guys that dropped me off at work and picked me up, were nice guys too. Oh, and they even threw in a burnt out light bulb that I needed replaced for free. Now that's a way to win a new customer! Thanks again guys!
