I am female and don't know much about cars. Because of these two factors, I almost always feel as though mechanics have taken advantage of my lack of car knowledge. Not so with Kory from A+ Japanese Auto Repair. Kory thoroughly inspected a used Craigslist car for me and spent a good deal of time going over both the positive and negative aspects of the car. He answered all of my questions without ever making me feel rushed and definitely made me feel as though he had my interests at heart. He has a keen memory and an eye for detail. At the conclusion of my interaction with him, my gut told me I could trust him and so I went with his advice. If you're like me and don't know much about cars, it's all about trusting the mechanic. These guys are awesome. Super organized and dependable. Always feel like they have my best interests at heart. They have so much business they don't need to look for unnecessary things to do. However they always tell you if they think something should be done and help you assess whether it should be done right away. Price is always fair.

I have been going to A+ Japanese for years now and have found them to be the most honest, experienced mechanics I have ever dealt with.I just have to call Rob and he is right on the problem. My car is an Isuzu Rodeo which is no longer made. Rob never has a problem getting me a part. They send me photos by email as the work progresses. The cost is always presented to me and they do there best to keep it down. I never feel like I have been burned when I walk out their door. My car is now 13 years old and runs like brand new thanks to Rob and his mechanics!

My car was misfiring at high speeds and felt very unsafe to drive. After taking it to two other repair shops, they couldn't assess the exact problem, or thought it was the ignition coils but everything seemed fine. When all hope was lost we looked for one more shop.

Instead of replacing all coils and spark plugs (which the other shops suggested), A+ Japanese actually took the time and extra effort to test all the ignition coils and deduced that a previous shop had used an after-market coil that was a bit too long to function correctly. Thanks A+ for the courteous treatment and quality work. Car drives better than ever!
