I took my car to A+ for an oil change, windshield replacement and because I had noticed a slightly vibrating in my steering wheel when driving at freeway speeds. My tech was Paul and I worked with Eric in the front office. Turned out that I needed a bearing and hub replaced on my front left tire, my front brakes needed to be replaced and my back brakes were dirty. I was a little stunned by all the work that needed to be done to my car and was dreading how much all this work was going to cost me. I had a number in mind (that I didn't share with them) and the final cost turned out to be right in line with that price. What I really appreciate about A+ is that they take the time to explain things to me, as a woman it can be really.... I guess awkward is the best word... to go into an auto shop and try to explain what is going on with your car and have a good understanding of what the techs diagnose. Too often I have felt that the techs in other shops felt that they were wasting their time explaining the repairs to me, I don't like to speculate, but I felt that if I were a man, I wouldn't have been treated that way by other shops. I felt that the explanation I received from Paul and Eric helped me understand more about the parts of my car and will help me in the future when it comes time for more repair work. Paul even showed/explained to me the work that was going to be done on my car prior to the repairs. And at no point did I feel that they thought they were wasting their time explaining things to me or answering my questions. It was comforting.Additionally they checked my oil and determined that it was still clean and could probably go another couple months before it needed to be changed, I appreciated the fact that they didn't do an unnecessary service. Overall I think that A+ is a really great business and I will definitely bring my car back to them in the future. I also found their website to be really helpful aplusjapaneseautorepair.
