I can’t believe how INCREDIBLE A+ Japanese Auto Repair is!! Top notch, honest, fair, and so fast! I’ve not received this level of customer service in years. I found them years ago because I dislike the Kia dealerships close by and for a second time, they’ve come through… took care of me & my car - faster and cheaper than I could have imagined. As long as I’m in the Bay, I’ll never take my car anywhere else!

I’ve been a customer for 7 years now. I usually deal with Justin who is very efficient, helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. He always explains work to be done. My transmission was replaced in 2017 at this shop and the car has been running great. I take it in for maintenance every few mos . Jason offers wonderful customer service ,and the mechanics are the best!

A+ Japanese Auto is the best. All of the workers there have been wonderful! They were able to get my car in for an emergent fix within the same day. Turns out I had a whole pile of issues that needed to be fixed. Ace was my main mechanic and he was awesome. He kept it real with what needed to be done, all the while educating me on how to keep my car in better shape for the future and increasing its longevity. You can really tell that safety is their #1 priority and that is the main reason why I trust their work! From their super friendly front desk, to their appointment availability, to the transparency of their work— they’re the best. They may be a little pricey but you’re paying to increase the life of your car and a overall your own safety while in it, which to me is priceless. It’s the little things that matter too: they washed my car & also did a quick vacuum of the interior while it was in shop (post dog beach sand all over, yuck!) and they even offer to loan you a car/Uber you where you need to go. As someone who knows nothing about cars I’m so glad to have found a shop that I can trust.

My car's (Mazda3 2010) transmission light came on. The Mazda dealership said they do not have the parts and cannot repair my car right now. It needed an electronic module which was backordered (#chip_shortage). The car was not useable at this point. It wasn't safe to drive. I then took it to A+ Japanese. They offered to keep my car in their garage until the part becomes available. They then ordered the part which took 3.5 months to deliver. The most amazing part is that they did not charge me a dime until my car was fixed. They basically shielded me from all that mazda nonsense.

Huge thank you to the A+ team. They were fast, honest and left my vehicle running like new. I loved the emailed vehicle report with photos of areas that repairs were needed. While I doubt I will need to be back back anytime soon with the great care and service the A+ team provided, it is great to know that they are just a phone call away.

Live locally place is always packed. Took my 91 CRX Si to have some electrical diagnosis. Ace went above my expectations for quality quick service. Usually shops I go to need 1-2 weeks for my issues. I know enough to fix quick things. But connecting circuits that burned up under the fuse box & fuses. I never would have checked, and continued to spend money at other shops. Now I’m driving my dream Tahitian Green CRX Si with no problems Sacramento to San Francisco. All thanks to Ace & A+Crew.
