Could not speak more highly of these mechanics. I literally commute from Marin to see them still. So friendly, never felt like I'm being ripped off, taken very well care of by Justin (the homie!). They do such an amazing job of keeping me car running and me happy.

I called this shop on Monday and wish now to give it a sterling review. I needed a long distance diagnosis b/c my mother's Honda would not start. Completely unresponsive. The very nice person who answered my call put me through to Justin. He asked a few questions, asked me to call my mother for some additional information, and said he would wait for my return call. Mind you, I am not a customer and I do not own a Japanese car and my mother and her Honda are an hour away. There was nothing in this for Jason or A+. I did as he asked and he made himself available when I called back. He seemed to immediately understand the situation and told me to call my mother and tell her to follow a few specific steps and to please call him back, one way or the other. Jason's instructions were followed and the car started. He seemed genuinely happy for my mother when I called to tell him the good news and thank him. If I had a Japanese car, this is where I would take it for service. No doubt there are many people who can effectively service vehicles, but it is rare to encounter a person or a shop that goes the extra mile for someone who isn't even a customer! I told a co-worker about my experience with A+ and she asked for contact details because she wants to take her car to a place that believes in good customer service.

My rear signal light was out and I felt a bit silly taking my car here for such a small thing, but I tried and failed at getting into the compartment to change it myself and really didn't want to drive without a signal light if possible. I am so glad I dropped in. Justin was very kind and asked me to wait while they "checked it out" (I thought I had broken a piece of plastic that may have compromised the seal...). When he came back (less than 15 minutes later), they had replaced both rear signal bulbs and checked that the seal was intact. They didn't charge me a cent! Of course I will be back for any future repairs. Really made my day! Thank you!

I took my 12 year old Nissan Frontier to A+ after doing a quick search for a shop that specializes in Japanese cars and trucks. Their shop with 10 service bays was clean and well organized and full of Japanese cars and SUVs both new and classic. My truck needed the spark plugs replaced which is a relatively big job on the V6 Frontier engine and they handled it quickly and returned my truck with a clean interior which I appreciated. The engine was much quicker and responsive. I would recommend this shop.

I've had two amazing experiences here. They re-built the engine on my 2005 Toyota Tacoma (which was a true feat of excellence) a few months ago, and I just had my serpentine belt break on me driving home. I had her towed to A+, and they had the fix done quickly, especially for how busy they are. Naeem has given me his personal number for updates, and I never feel ignored or concerned when they have my truck. I've used their shop car to get to work while they fixed her up. I've never had a better experience with an auto repair place; I feel nothing short of lucky for finding this great San Carlos location. Thank you, Naeem, for your incredible personal service, and to the guys in the shop that clearly know what they're doing. See you again, soon! Hopefully, not too soon... :)

Naeem is one of the best representatives I've ever dealt with at an auto shop. He is efficient, knowledgeable and courteous. I've been going to them for almost 2 years now and most recently my car got broken into. In a moment of despair and anxiety, all I wanted to hear was that someone was gonna take care of me and that's what they did! I didn't have to deal with no glass company, the insurance or payment - Naeem took care of all of it. He even got someone to pick me up for a rental car. Just EXCELLENT WORK!
