A+ is, hands down, the best in the area. With a consistent and quality based work ethic, honesty with their customers, and range of amenities (from free coffee, to using a shop car, to a ride to work, to insanely low rental fees if needed, to giving you the best deal possible for the work) it is not surprising they consistently receive high praise. I've had them look at 2 different cars for much different reasons and they were always on the money with their diagnosis as well as what was most meaningful via. recommended work. The entire staff is kind and thoughtful and I will be enlisting their services as long as I am living in Palo Alto.

Most helpful place! Even when I asked for help on my snow chains, Donna helped me plan for a session on how to install it and let me use my voucher. Very quick with responses on Yelp messages as well. Thank you! Made me feel relieved that I had this resource.

My wife and I are impressed with the very high level of courtesy and obvious commitment to customer service. My car's needed repairs were thoroughly explained to me and I never felt pressured. A plus Japanese repairs is our first choice. One more visit later: what I said before still goes. Extremely considerate courteous treatment. Donna really lights up the room. My only gripe is that they need more parking space. Overall, very efficient and thoughtful.

I've been bringing my vehicles here since 2012. A minivan and a Mazda3. The service has been exceptional. Given the volume of vehicles that they service and repair the time to be repaired estimates have always been spot on. The prices are competitive with all the shops in the area. I've checked! Know that car repairs are never cheap and this place has always been reasonable. However, what makes this place apart, is their attention to the customer experience. When my Mazda had some crazy complex issues with the fuel system along with dealing with the extended warranty, everything was explained and handled by Naeem and crew. They could have given up. They didn't and were incredibly professional. The car has not given me an issue since! Basically I trust their opinion. They are always willing to work with you. Never pushy. I get photos via email of whatever the problems are. I highly recommend them.

While I have been going to A+ Japanese for a number of years, Justin made my last experience there just as good as it had been last year before Rob left. I was concerned that when Rob left, the service might change. I just had my Fall Service done and Justin was very good at telling me the things that they found that I could opt to do, or not do, along with the service. Of course, I knew that this was coming because places always want to "sell" you more. While this occurred, there was no pressure on me to do it and I selected to do just the bare minimum. Plus, they always make getting my car to them and back super easy.

We live on the peninsula and been taking our Nissan Altima and Infinity G35 to A + Japanese for years. These folks always show integrity, high quality work and let us know they appreciate our business. More important than regular routine maintenance we have had times when we desperately needed their help, weak battery, "strange" noise under the hood, etc etc and it's always, "don't worry, we will take care of you". And they always do. These folks are great. If you have a Japanese car and care about your car, then this is the place to go on the peninsula.

Justin is a gem in the industry. Everyone I've talked to there was genuinely helpful, but Justin, he is a superstar when it comes to customer relations. First off, they are below the average cost, honest on the labor times, never pushy, and always available... even on his days off, Justin sensed I was worried so he even offered his personal cell so I can call and make a decision. He gave us an extremely detailed summary of what they found and only gave me knowledge, not persuasion, to make my decision. I asked to do the minimum to ensure safety and also to cut down on my costs, and he was glad to do so without trying to scare me into buying more service as so many other shops do. What's also convenient is they have a lock box which enables you to pick up your car at any time, even when closed. They also offer the same if your dropping off. They had the car done in a day. I've been to many shops and never felt as comfortable as I did here. Communication is what sets these guys apart. That, along with honest, fast, reliable service, makes this place my 1st pick for taking our car. Oh and they also warranty their parts, so there's peace of mind when you leave the shop as well. And one last thing, this isn't the first time I've been here, we've been coming here in the past and it's the same Justin, same great service, same great price. 5stars, they deserve it.
